I was going about my day a while back and I suddenly walked into a very clear vision of an ouroboros snake with DNA-like scales wrapped around the outside of a band in an ouroboros style. it was such a crisp, delightful vision that it had to be brought into fruition with diamond eyes, of course.

the wide, mirror-like band is a pain to photograph, so please excuse any reflections in the photos

An ouroboros snake, which represents the constant cycle of death and rebirth, wraps around an antique JR Wood & Sons cigar style wide band, finished with diamond eyes. What cycles of death and rebirth are you constantly recommitting to? perhaps this is a wearable poem about that journey

the band is low karat 9k victorian era gold with a slightly rosy, characteristic of the time. the engraving is new, was done by an expert hand engraver (not a machine!), and the diamond eyes are natural, new, and sparkly.

while I may bring more of this design into fruition, each one will be unique as each band will be different

slides down to a size 10.75 on a sizing mandrel, but will fit more like a size 9.75 because of its width. wide, flat bands fit especially snug on the finger, so if you like a little breathing room between your finger and a ring then you might find this most comfortable on a size 9.5 finger. this band cannot be sized without disrupting the engraving
